Jesus charged his disciples with this from the Gospel of Mark 10:44-45 "And whoeverwould be first among you must be slave of all. For even the Son of Man came not to be served be to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many." By Christ's example we are to follow - serve others well. It's no more complicated than this and this thing is not subject to our own will but His - exclusively for His purposes, His pleasure and His glory alone. Most strangely appreciated Favorite Verse: (Jeremiah 17:9)
